1983 KORG PME-40X Modular Effects Pedal with3x FX Analog Delay Graphic EQ Chorus
FOR SALE: KORG PME-40X PROFESSIONAL MODULAR EFFECTS pedal, with 3 effects cartridges included (Stereo CHORUS, Stereo ANALOG DELAY, GRAPHIC EQ), used. Made in Japan, unit is 40 years old! Unit has mono input (1/4" jack) and stereo output (2x 1/4" jacks). All four pedal spaces on pedalboard are working (you can mix & match pedal placement to desired taste), plus lights on spaces 1-4 and "ALL PASS" (bypass) work.
Also included are three long screws that hold pedals in place from the bottom (pedals still work without screws, FYI). Pedal and cartridges have even usage wear 40 years!
Built-in power cord, input & output jacks, and all 5 on/off switches all work great, no issues. "MANUAL" knob on CHORUS cartridge acts as a slight mix/depth control. It's more noticeable on the faster speeds.
"LEVEL" slider on EQ doesn't seem to lower volume much beneath the "zero" position (and also crackles a little below zero; works great on the boost, though). All 7 of the EQ bands beneath "zero" work fine if you need a volume drop. The slot on the far left is marked "STEREO" (see pic); you can only use one stereo cartridge in the lineup to utilize stereo output.
Stereo Delay plays live signal on one side, delay on other; no ping-pong. I usually put the Chorus on the stereo spot, cuz it's got a nice L/R spread.
